Natural living journey
Mistakes are not only normal but they are what makes life deliciously fun! In my opinion, trying to be perfect is actually abnormal. Things usually don't work out perfectly the first time we try doing them.
Look at babies for example. They fall a few times before they take their first step. But, instead of focusing on the fall, the baby just enjoys the process and focuses on getting up and trying again.
And just think how boring life would be without mistakes. Without mistakes how would we learn, practice and make progress? How boring would life be if we always did things perfectly and things just worked out the first time?
What about sports and hobbies? What makes them enjoyable? Mistakes! Without mistakes, how would we learn patience? And we would never experience the joy of practicing, making progress and reaching our goals.
Oh and another thing, mistakes help us to be more humble, grateful, kind, and compassionate. So what's not to love about mistakes?
So next time you fear not being perfect, take a deep breath and say "I am perfect just the way I am, flaws and all", and "I just need to be me and enjoy the journey," and "I am focused on progress not perfection".
So, remember, its completely normal to make mistakes. There's no need to get anxious or blame yourself. Let's learn from the baby, and instead of focusing on the fall, let's fall in love with the journey, focus on the lesson learned and get up and try again!
Excellence is a journey, so focus on progress, not perfection. Enjoy every step and build it as you would love it!
